Everybody loves snow flakes - catching snowflakes on your tongue, building the biggest snowman, throwing snowballs at your friends and making snow angels all capture that magic of the mountains. Combine the sparkle of the snow with a fun mix of instructors and programs and you have one of Australia's best on-snow learning centres.
Thredbo offers a variety of age specific programs for children 3 – 18 years, covering skiing, boarding and new school riding.
Making their snow debut, littlies find their feet in the famous Thredboland program, then as grow, they work their way through Thredbo Freeriders then onto Club Freeride before moving onto the adult programs, so there's a whole lifetime of fun with Thredbo Snow Sports.

| Thredboland (kids aged between 3 to 6) | Thredboland is for children aged between 3 and 6 years and is specially designed to not only teach the kids how to ski but it stimulates the child's imagination, encourages learning and creates intrigue. They even have their very own "kids only" area, where they meet, have lunch and chill out during the day. A highlight of the program, apart from the fab teachers and sliding on the snow, is that there are special fun events during the week. There's a kids only flare run, where they ride down Friday Flat with flares waving to an excited group of families below, a race day and the crowd favourite Animal Threatre where the gang from Thredboland comes out to play. |

| Threbo Freeriders (7 to 14) | You can choose what you want to either ski, board or you can do both and make a switch mid-week. Thredbo's favourite instructors will teach the kids all the fresh moves, and have them cruising with style in no time. Freeriders program is new school riding - this is where the kids will tune their terrain park skills, learn park etiquette and get the knack of sliding and grinding park features. |

| Club Freeride (13 to 18) | For those aged 13 to 18 years who think they are a little over lessons, Club Freeride is a fab 1 day program for teenagers who just want to rip and perfect their new school skills. Thredbo's coolest instructors give them tips on the art of jibbing and groups are split according to ability and weapon of choice (twin tip skis or a snowboard). Club Freeride offers maxium ride time so there's plenty of time to perfect all-terrain tricks. |

| Child Care (From 6 months to 6 years) | If your after a session on the snow but your little one isn't up to it, then the Thredbo Child Care Centre is the best solution. Open daily from 8.30am until 4.30pm the centre offers both full and half day programs for kids aged from 6 months to 6 years. staffed by experienced and friendly carers your child will be well looked after in a safe and fun alpine environment. The Thredbo Child Care Centre is located in the Thredbo Leisure Centre. |
